This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction connection and a 5" discharge connection with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The pump uses a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller balanced to ANSI Grade G6.3, supported by a bronze wear ring. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a stainless steel shaft, and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The internal mechanical seal incorporates a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. The casing includes pressure tappings at the suction and discharge ports to facilitate monitoring.
The pump operates at 1450 RPM and is driven by a Baldor motor within a NEMA 324 T-frame. It is configured for 50Hz power and features standard CCW rotation. The assembly is secured to a welded structural steel base that includes an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler covered by a coupler guard. This unit is rated for 50 °C ambient temperature conditions and has a pump energy index (PEI) of 0.93.
