This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. It incorporates a dry shaft design featuring a stainless steel shaft protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The pump assembly is constructed without a wear ring.
The pump is driven by a 3 HP Baldor TEFC motor mounted on a NEMA 182T frame, operating at 1750 RPM. Electrical requirements are 200V, 3PH, 60Hz power, with across the line starting. The assembly is secured to a welded base that includes an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. This unit includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets premium efficiency standards per NEMA MG1-12.55. It has a DOE PEI rating of 0.94 and is configured for 40°C ambient temperatures with counter-clockwise rotation.
