This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design and does not include a wear ring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 50 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 326T NEMA frame. Power requirements are 230-460/60/3, with an across-the-line starting configuration. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. It features AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The pump includes pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections, is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature, and has a DOE PEI of 0.92.
