This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The assembly uses a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a tungsten carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for clean water at temperatures up to 300 °F. It incorporates AEGIS shaft grounding to mitigate electrical interference.
The system operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 30 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and NEMA 286T frame. The power supply is 230-460/60/3 PH, utilizing an across the line starting configuration. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and operates in a 40 °C ambient environment with counter-clockwise rotation. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard for the included Woods coupler. This unit maintains a DOE PEI of 0.9.
