This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 10" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The unit includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent contact with circulating fluid. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a tungsten carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, designed for clean water temperatures up to 300°F. The pump casing includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping.
This pump is configured with a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor in an ODP enclosure and a JM frame with feet. It operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 230-460/60/3 PH electrical supply. The motor meets NEMA standard requirements and incorporates AEGIS shaft grounding. Starting is across the line, and the rotation is counter-clockwise. The unit provides premium efficiency in accordance with MG1-12.55 standards and has a DOE PEI value of 0.94. The motor is rated for a 104°F ambient temperature environment.
