This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge connections, configured with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The pump uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. It incorporates a rear pullout design and a dry shaft configuration that isolates the pump shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and it is suitable for fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The unit also includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge ports.
The pump is configured with a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor in a 213 JM frame style with feet. The motor operates at 1750 RPM and features an ODP enclosure with AEGIS shaft grounding. Power supply requirements are 230-460/60/3 PH with an across the line starting option. This model meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and maintains a 40°C ambient temperature rating. It operates with a counter-clockwise rotation and has a DOE PEI value of 0.84.
