This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction connection and a 6" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are located on both the suction and discharge connections for monitoring.
The assembly is powered by a 40 HP, 1750 RPM WEG motor in an ODP enclosure with a NEMA 324 T frame. It operates on 230-460/60/3 PH power and features premium efficiency, meeting MG1-12.55 standards with AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor is configured for across the line starting and connects to the pump via a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. The pump is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan. This unit has a DOE PEI of 0.93.
