This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft paired with a bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump design utilizes a dry shaft to prevent circulating fluid from contacting the shaft and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump is powered by a 25 HP, 3450 RPM Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and a NEMA 284TS frame. It operates on a 230-460/60/3PH power supply and features premium efficiency motor performance. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. This configuration uses across the line starting, includes AEGIS shaft grounding, and maintains a 40°C ambient rating. The pump energy index (PEI) for this unit is 0.95.
