This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller with a bronze wear ring inside a cast iron casing. The construction includes a dry shaft design with a stainless steel slip-on shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The pump operates at temperatures up to 250 °F. It incorporates flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections, with a rear pullout design for servicing.
The unit is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and a JM frame with feet. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 230-460/60/3PH power supply. The motor meets NEMA standards, provides premium efficiency per MG1-12.55, and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump utilizes across the line starting, functions in a 40 °C ambient environment, maintains CCW rotation, and is rated with a PEI value of 0.87.
