This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter. It uses a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and is rated for operation up to 250°F. The pump casing includes integrally cast mounting feet and pressure tappings for suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 50 HP WEG premium efficiency motor in a NEMA 324TS frame with an ODP enclosure. The motor is configured for 230-460/60/3 power, across the line starting, and 40°C ambient operation. It includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 efficiency standards. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and uses a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. The pump has a DOE PEI of 0.95.
