This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with a 6-1/4" nominal diameter. It includes a stainless steel shaft paired with a bronze shaft sleeve, utilizing a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. This unit is equipped with AEGIS shaft grounding and utilizes ANSI Class 125 flanges without a wear ring.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 15 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 254 T-frame configuration. It is rated for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power with an across the line starting option. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a standard Woods coupler protected by a guard. The bearing frame utilizes greasable bearings. This unit meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and has a DOE PEI rating of 0.89.
