This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit consists of a cast iron casing with center-line discharge and a 7-1/4" bronze impeller balanced to ANSI Grade G6.3. It uses a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a bronze wear ring. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. Pressure tappings are included on the suction and discharge connections, and the design features flush seal line taps.
This unit operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP Baldor ODP motor, NEMA frame 256T. It is configured for 230-460/60/3 power with across the line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a standard Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. The motor is a premium efficiency model meeting MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding and greasable bearings. The pump assembly has a DOE PEI value of 0.91 and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment with counter-clockwise rotation.
