This base-mounted end suction pump comprises a cast iron casing with a bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft. The unit integrates a bronze shaft sleeve and a ceramic and EPT mechanical seal within a dry shaft design that prevents circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. Engineered for system performance, the assembly accommodates a maximum pressure of 125 PSI without the use of a wear ring.
The motor provides 60 HP and is constructed with a Premium Efficiency rating, a TEFC enclosure, and operates at 1750 RPM with Aegis Grounding, utilizing 380-460V / 3PH power with a DOE PEI of 0.46. The 'S' in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
