This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 6" suction and 5" discharge ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The pump design incorporates a dry shaft configuration and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber accommodates temperatures up to 250°F. The bearing frame features permanently lubricated, sealed-for-life ball bearings with a rated L10 life of 60,000 hours.
The unit is powered by a 10 HP, 1150 RPM TEFC Baldor motor in a 256T NEMA frame. It operates on 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power and utilizes across-the-line starting. This motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base that incorporates an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. The assembly is configured for 40°C ambient operation with standard counter-clockwise rotation.
