This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the shaft. The unit is equipped with flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation in clean water up to 250°F.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure, NEMA 215 frame, and T-frame style. It is configured for 200V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across the line starting. The motor meets Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly uses a Woods coupler and is mounted on a welded base with a drip pan and an OSHA. This model maintains a PEI value of 0.87.
