This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit consists of a cast iron casing and a 7-1/4" diameter bronze impeller. It incorporates a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal assembly uses a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The pump maintains operation at fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The rear pullout design permits servicing of internal components without disturbing the surrounding system piping, while the top centerline discharge configuration assists with self-venting.
The pump is configured with a 20 HP Baldor motor in an ODP enclosure that includes a drip cover. It operates at 3450 RPM on a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply with across the line starting. The motor uses a 254JM frame with feet and features AEGIS shaft grounding. This assembly complies with NEMA standards and meets premium efficiency requirements per MG1-12.55, with a PEI of 0.94. The motor is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and utilizes a counter-clockwise rotation.
