This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and a 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a stainless steel impeller with an 11" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is built on a 284 T-frame and is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply. The pump includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. It is mounted on a welded structural steel base that features an integral drip pan and a coupler guard for the included Woods coupler. This pump assembly is configured for across the line starting and has a DOE PEI value of 0.94.
