This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller and a cast iron casing equipped with a bronze wear ring. The pump assembly incorporates a stainless steel shaft paired with a bronze shaft sleeve to protect the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are included on both the suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP TEFC Baldor motor in a NEMA 213 T-frame. It is configured for a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply and utilizes across-the-line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The pump utilizes a Woods coupler and greasable bearings within the bearing frame. This equipment includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards MG1-12.55, with a PEI value of 0.86.
