This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. The pump includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the shaft and the system fluid. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber components, allowing for operation at fluid temperatures up to 250 °F. It also includes flush seal line taps and a top center line discharge design.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP, 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is mounted in a JM-style frame with feet and includes a drip cover and AEGIS shaft grounding. This unit meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and has a PEI of 0.92. The system is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature and utilizes an across-the-line starting option. The rear pullout design allows for maintenance without disturbing the system piping.
