This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and provides a self-flushing seal design. The pump is supported by sealed-for-life ball bearings housed within a cast iron bearing frame.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP WEG Super E Premium Efficiency motor. The motor is a NEMA 215 T-frame style with a TEFC enclosure and is configured for a 380V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply. Power is transferred through a Woods coupler. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a coupler guard. This equipment meets NEMA MG1-12.55 efficiency standards and has a PEI rating of 0.88.
