This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber rated for 250°F. The unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for service without disturbing system piping, while the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts.
This unit is configured with a 20 HP Baldor TEFC motor that operates at 1750 RPM. The motor is NEMA frame 256, style JM with feet, and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The power supply is 575/60/3 with across the line starting. The pump is rated for 40°C ambient conditions and features counter-clockwise rotation. This motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. The hydraulic performance corresponds to a DOE PEI value of 0.92.
