This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing with a bronze wear ring. The pump assembly utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve to facilitate maintenance. A mechanical seal is installed, consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, which is rated for operation up to 250°F. The casing incorporates gauge ports at the suction and discharge connections for system monitoring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor motor in a 215 T-frame. The motor features an ODP enclosure and premium efficiency levels meeting MG1-12.55 standards, including AEGIS shaft grounding. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3 with an across the line starting option and a 40°C ambient rating. The assembly is mounted on a welded base equipped with a drip pan and a standard coupler guard protecting the Woods coupler. This pump configuration maintains a DOE PEI value of 0.87.
