This base-mounted end suction pump comprises a cast iron casing with a bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve secured to a stainless steel shaft. The dry shaft design prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft, maintaining an operating pressure of 125 PSI. A mechanical seal with a ceramic seat and EPT rubber is utilized to ensure fluid containment. The pump incorporates a center-line discharge for air venting and provides gauge ports at the suction and discharge connections for system pressure monitoring.
The system utilizes a 25 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM, which incorporates Aegis grounding on a 380-460V 3PH power supply, yielding a DOE PEI rating of 0.46. The S in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
