This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 10" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The pump utilizes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve to isolate the shaft from circulating fluids. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250°F for clean water applications. Pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 10 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply with across-the-line starting and NEMA 215 T-frame dimensions. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded structural steel base that includes an integral drip pan, a Woods coupler, and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The pump operates at a 40°C ambient temperature with counter-clockwise rotation and maintains a DOE PEI value of 0.94.
