This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing with a bronze wear ring. The assembly includes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and is rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The casing includes suction and discharge pressure tappings for system monitoring.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 50 HP Baldor premium efficiency motor. The motor features a TEFC enclosure, NEMA 326 T frame, and AEGIS shaft grounding, meeting MG1-12.55 efficiency standards. It is configured for a 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply with an across the line starting option. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and utilizes a Woods coupler for the motor connection. This pump assembly has a PEI rating of 0.93.
