This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 1-1/2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing and a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The unit incorporates a rear pullout design for field servicing, flush seal line taps, and pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump is configured with a 10 HP, 3450 RPM Baldor TEFC motor in a 215 JM frame with feet. It operates on a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment. This unit utilizes a CCW rotation and has a PEI value of 0.89. The mounting arrangement consists of a close-coupled configuration with motor feet and utilizes an across-the-line starting option.
