This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 7-1/4" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze with a bronze wear ring. The pump uses a cast iron casing, a stainless steel shaft, and a stainless steel shaft sleeve. It features a mechanical seal with a tungsten carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and Viton rubber. This configuration is rated for 300°F clean water. The design incorporates a dry shaft to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 5 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power and fits a NEMA 184T frame. The assembly features a welded base with an integral drip pan, an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, and a Woods coupler. The pump uses greasable bearings and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This unit meets NEMA premium efficiency standards, has a DOE PEI of 0.91, and operates in a 40°C ambient temperature.
