This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 6" suction and 5" discharge connections equipped with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes an 11" diameter bronze impeller, a bronze wear ring, and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The design incorporates a dry shaft construction and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections for monitoring system performance.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 30 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor that meets MG1-12.55 standards. The motor is housed in a NEMA 286 T-frame enclosure with an ODP rating, configured for 230-460/60/3 PH power with across the line starting. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan, a standard coupler guard, and a Woods coupler. This equipment is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature and carries a PEI value of 0.94.
