This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a cast iron casing and cover, a stainless steel impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The assembly incorporates a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections to facilitate maintenance and monitoring.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is configured with a 25 HP Baldor motor in a 284 JM frame with feet. The TEFC motor is rated for a 230-460/60/3 power supply and meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. It includes AEGIS shaft grounding and maintains a PEI of 0.94. The rear pullout design allows for servicing the pump without disturbing the system piping.
