This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. Flush seal line taps are provided for filter installation, and the rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the system piping.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor. This motor features a TEFC enclosure, a JM frame style with feet, and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 standards. The unit is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply with across the line starting and a 40°C ambient temperature rating. The rotation is counter-clockwise. This equipment is compliant with a DOE PEI rating of 0.89.
