This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction connection and a 5" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter. It includes a stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve, utilizing a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. The internal assembly includes a bronze wear ring, and the impeller is dynamically balanced to ANSI Grade G6.3.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 324 T frame. The electrical configuration is rated for 230-460/60/3 PH power and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The unit features an AEGIS shaft grounding ring and is mounted on a welded steel base with an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. A Woods coupler connects the pump to the motor. This equipment has a DOE PEI rating of 0.93.
