This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 2" suction and 1-1/4" discharge ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design that prevents system fluid contact with the shaft. It includes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, suitable for fluid temperatures up to 250 °F. Additional features include flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the system piping, while the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts.
This unit is configured with a 2 HP Baldor motor in a 145 JM frame with feet and a TEFC enclosure. It operates at 1750 RPM and requires a 200V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply. The motor meets NEMA standard requirements and premium efficiency standards, including AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump has a PEI value of 0.78 and is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature. It uses an across-the-line starting option and is configured for counter-clockwise rotation.
