This close-coupled end suction pump utilizes a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller to facilitate fluid transfer. The assembly incorporates a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that eliminates contact between the circulating fluid and the pump shaft. A mechanical seal with a ceramic seat and EPT rubber components maintains system integrity at pressures up to 125 PSI. Flush seal line taps allow for the integration of filtration, while pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections permit monitoring.
Powered by a 15 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor, this assembly operates at 1750 RPM, integrates Aegis grounding, and accepts a 380-460V 3PH power supply, resulting in a DOE PEI rating of 0.44. The "S" in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
