This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a cast iron casing with an integrated bronze wear ring and a 10" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes ports for suction and discharge gauges.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP WEG TEFC motor with an AEGIS shaft grounding ring. The motor is housed in a 254 T frame and uses 380V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across the line starting. The unit is installed on a welded structural steel base that features an integral drip pan and a Woods flexible coupler with a standard coupler guard. This model meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a DOE PEI of 0.94.
