This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 10" suction and 8" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a stainless steel impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter, a stainless steel shaft, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 150 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 444T NEMA frame. The unit is configured for 460/60/3 power with across-the-line starting. It includes an AEGIS SGR, an insulated NDE bearing, and greasable bearings. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, using a standard Woods coupler. The unit is rated for 40°C ambient operation and has a DOE PEI of 0.94.
