This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction port and a 2-1/2" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 10" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid and includes a slip-on shaft sleeve to facilitate seal maintenance. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a maximum temperature rating of 250 °F. The unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, while the top center line discharge assists in piping alignment.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is configured with a 213JM frame with feet, a 230-460/60/3PH power supply, and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 Super E premium efficiency standards. It operates in a 40 °C ambient environment with standard CCW rotation and across-the-line starting. The pump assembly maintains a DOE PEI of 0.94.
