This base-mounted end suction pump incorporates a class 30 cast iron casing with a center-line discharge and a bronze impeller. The design utilizes a dry shaft configuration that isolates the stainless steel shaft from circulating fluids by employing a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. A mechanical seal consisting of ceramic seat halves and EPT rubber components provides fluid containment, while the construction supports a 125 PSI pressure rating. Integral mounting feet facilitate installation, and a bronze wear ring is present within the casing to maintain hydraulic integrity.
Powered by a 10 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM with Aegis grounding, the assembly runs on a 200-230V 3PH power supply with a DOE PEI of 0.45. The 'S' in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
