This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and an NSF61 stainless steel impeller with a 7-1/2" nominal diameter. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft, a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve, and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing an operating temperature rating of 250°F. The pump casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and features flush seal line taps.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP Baldor motor in a NEMA 324 frame with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for a 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply using an across-the-line starting option. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded structural steel base equipped with a drip pan and a Woods flexible coupler. This equipment is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature, has a DOE PEI of 0.91, and maintains an HI Energy Rating of 9.
