This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 6" suction and 5" discharge connections, equipped with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring. The pump utilizes an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The dry shaft design prevents contact between the pump shaft and circulating fluid. It includes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit incorporates flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, and the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts.
The pump is driven by a 30 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 286 JM motor frame style with feet. It operates at 1750 RPM and is configured for a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The electrical configuration utilizes across the line starting and is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment. This unit maintains a DOE PEI value of 0.94.
