This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, an 11-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. The design incorporates a dry shaft to prevent fluid contact with the shaft assembly. It uses a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections for system monitoring.
This unit is powered by a 5 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor motor in a NEMA 184 T-frame with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply with across the line starting. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and features AEGIS shaft grounding.
