This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. The assembly utilizes a bronze shaft sleeve within a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the system fluid and the pump shaft. A mechanical seal is installed, consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. The unit includes flush seal line taps to accommodate an optional filter and features a rear pullout design for servicing. The discharge is positioned at the top center line to assist with system venting.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM using a 1 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and a 143 JM frame style with feet. Power input is configured for 230-460/60/3PH with across the line starting. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment and has a PEI value of 0.85.
