This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a rear pullout design and a dry shaft configuration that eliminates contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, supporting fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The assembly also includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 2 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency TEFC motor. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply with across the line starting. The motor utilizes a 145 JM frame style with feet and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature. This unit meets MG1-12.55 standards and has a PEI of 0.86. The top center line discharge design facilitates piping layouts and reduces strain.
