This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing and cover with a 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge. It is equipped with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring. The pump uses a stainless steel (NSF61) impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter. The shaft assembly includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the system fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for a maximum temperature of 250 °F. Flush seal line taps are provided for filter installation, and the rear pullout design allows for servicing without removing the piping.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460V, 3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor utilizes a 256 JM frame with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding to meet NEMA premium efficiency standards. This unit is rated for 40 °C ambient conditions and features CCW rotation. The pump complies with DOE energy efficiency requirements with a PEI of 0.9.
