This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses an 11" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design with a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections and provides flush seal line taps.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 25 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 284 T-frame. It accepts a 230-460/60/3PH power supply and features a premium efficiency design that meets MG1-12.55 standards with AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly uses greasable bearings, a standard Woods coupler, and a welded base with an integrated drip pan. The across the line starting option is standard. This equipment operates at a 40°C ambient temperature and carries a PEI value of 0.97.
