This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 4" suction and 3" discharge ports, incorporating ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller with a bronze wear ring. It employs a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a tungsten carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, accommodating clean water temperatures up to 300°F. The bearing housing contains permanently lubricated, sealed-for-life ball bearings.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM using a 5 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 184 T frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply with across the line starting and AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. The assembly is mounted on a welded structural steel base that includes an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler with a coupler guard.
