This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction connection and a 3" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller housed within a cast iron casing and cover. The unit includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, suitable for fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The pump assembly incorporates a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The design includes flush seal line taps and standard suction and discharge pressure tappings, along with a rear pullout configuration to facilitate maintenance without disturbing the system piping.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. The motor utilizes a 213JM frame style with mounting feet and adheres to NEMA standards. The electrical configuration supports 230-460/60/3PH power with across the line starting. The motor features premium efficiency that meets NEMA MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly operates with CCW rotation and supports a 40°C ambient temperature rating. The system holds a DOE PEI rating of 0.9.
