This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal containing a Ni-Resist seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump assembly incorporates a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 3 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 182T frame. This motor is configured for 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power, utilizes across-the-line starting, and provides premium efficiency that meets MG1-12.55 standards with AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and a standard Woods coupler guard. This unit has a PEI value of 0.86 and operates in a 40°C ambient environment with counter-clockwise rotation.
