This base-mounted end suction pump comprises a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller. The design incorporates a dry shaft construction, which prevents circulating fluid from contacting the stainless steel shaft and the replaceable stainless steel shaft sleeve. Mechanical sealing utilizes a ceramic seat and EPT rubber, rated for 125 PSI operation. This construction allows service without disturbing the system piping.
The assembly utilizes a 75 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM with Aegis grounding, powered by a 380-460V 3PH supply, achieving a DOE PEI of 0.46. The S in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
