This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. The unit uses a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that eliminates contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The pump includes flush seal line taps and suction and discharge pressure tappings for system monitoring. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the piping, while the top center line discharge assists in self-venting and reduces piping strain.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP WEG motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power and utilizes a JM motor frame with feet. The unit is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly meets NEMA standards and has a PEI value of 0.9.
