This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The pump design includes a dry shaft to prevent contact with system fluid, flush seal line taps, and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. It uses ANSI Class 125 flanges without a wear ring, and the rear pullout configuration allows for servicing without disturbing system piping.
This pump is configured with a 15 HP Baldor motor in a 215 JM frame with feet. It operates at 3450 RPM on a 200V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply with an ODP enclosure. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes an AEGIS shaft grounding ring. The assembly is rated for 40°C ambient temperatures and 250°F maximum fluid temperature. The motor features a top center line discharge and is rated with a DOE PEI of 0.87.
